New Practice Members

Welcome to Northside Chiropractic! Our kid-friendly office provides multiple spaces for your little ones to hang out and be comfortable, no matter which area you’re in. We offer a calm, bright, modern and cheerful environment that every member of your family will feel at home in.

Day One

Your first visit will take 30-45 minutes. You can bring in the necessary paperwork completed by downloading it from our website. Then, you’ll meet Dr. McIver when you arrive and sit down together for a consultation and to discuss your history, goals and what you’re held back from doing by your particular health challenge. If the new practice member is your child, we’ll speak extensively about your pregnancy, labor and birth.

The next step is a comprehensive examination that includes the CLA® Insight™ scanning technology to learn more about your nervous system function. These noninvasive forms of testing include

Surface electromyography
A thermal scan
Heart rate variability

This state-of-the-art approach is appropriate for anyone, even pregnant moms as well as children. Dr. McIver will then take time to analyze your examination and prepare the results to review with you at a follow-up.

Day Two

When you return, you can plan on spending 15-20 minutes to look at your scans and the rest of the evaluations we completed on your first day. Dr. McIver will discuss the specific plan of care he’s designed to help you reach your goals. If you choose to move forward, you’ll receive your first chiropractic adjustment.

Continuing to Benefit From Chiropractic

Many people wonder if you have to see a chiropractor for the rest of your life once you begin care. The good news is, the choice is completely yours! We don’t require you to keep returning for adjustments. Similar to anything else you do like eating well and exercising, your spine and nervous system needs maintenance. We don’t want you to experience a recurrence of your problems, but the decision to continue care is up to you.
